Select Fill (Non-DOT)

Select Fill (Non-DOT) is a very dirty crusher run, 1 1/2" minus, with 20% passing through a #200 sieve, consisting of dirt and dust. This material compacts well but will mud up on a wet day and should not be used in wet areas. Note: This is not the same as DOT Select Fill.

Common Applications

This material is used for backfilling garages, walls, and building bases, providing a stable and compact foundation. It is ideal for shallow fill applications, easy to handle and apply, and effective in creating a solid base layer for construction projects—but should be avoided in areas prone to wet conditions. It is also ideal for leveling yards before adding topsoil.
